What this connector does

TRUE AI is the conversational interface to the TRUE platform. Connecting it to your AI assistant lets you read live and historical market data for thousands of tokens — prices, liquidity, volume, on-chain token analytics, market news, and curated catalyst events. Your assistant can also read your TRUE Points balance, history, and referral activity, as well as your prior TRUE AI chat history so it has continuity across sessions.

The connector cannot transfer or withdraw funds. Market and account data are read-only; trading is a separate, optional scope that is off unless you grant it, and even then the connector only requests a trade — you approve each order in your open TRUE app, which signs it with your own wallet. TRUE AI is non-custodial by design.

Authentication uses standard OAuth 2.1 with PKCE. You grant scopes during a consent screen on app.truefinance.ai, can revoke access at any time from your account settings, and refresh tokens rotate on every use with automatic cascade revocation if reuse is detected.

OAuth scopes

TRUE AI exposes three read-only OAuth scopes plus one optional trading scope, trade:execute. Each is opt-in on the consent screen and individually revocable.

read:chat — Read your chat history and conversations

So the assistant has continuity across sessions and can surface prior research instead of asking the user to re-paste it. Data accessed: the user's own TRUE AI chat threads. No other user's data.

read:points — Read your TRUE Points balance, history, and referrals

Lets the assistant answer "what's my balance?" / "how many points did I earn last week?" without the user pasting numbers. Data accessed: the authenticated user's points ledger only.

read:market — Read real-time and historical market data

Powers price/quote/catalyst questions. Data accessed: public market data only — no per-user information.

Revoking access

To disconnect the TRUE AI MCP connector at any time:

1. Open the TRUE AI app at app.truefinance.ai
2. Go to Account → Settings → Connected Apps
3. Find the connected client and tap Revoke

Revoking invalidates every access and refresh token for that client immediately. You can also manage connected apps directly at app.truefinance.ai/settings/connected-apps.

Default scope set

We request the same scope set everywhere so the consent screen looks the same regardless of which assistant the user came from: read:chat read:points read:market. Those three are read-only. trade:execute is requested only by hosts meant to place trades, and never moves or withdraws funds — each order is approved by the user in the TRUE app and signed by their own wallet.
